Thought David was lost in the rainforest, or had given it all up to roam the plains of Patagonia as a gringo gaucho?

Well ponder no more. David is now based again in the UK, having spent a large amount of time working as a correspondent and guidebook author in South America.

During this time, based primarily in Bolivia, David reckons he clocked up his fair share of travel tales: from llama sacrifices at the annual tinku festival, via an irate bunch of French hippies on Lake Titicaca to co-presenting a community radio show (in Spanish) with Bolivia's leading troupe of drag queens, La Familia Galan.
